Default Collector improvment

I think the collectors need improvment

a number of ideas

offer perhaps the option to travel to a nearby settlement/town
offer what they collect for tradable goods (which they can offer as trade for whatever stackable they collect) (collector offer two ice loadstone for sword, but offer said sword for five icy loadstones)
offer moral boost (similar as the statues )
offer some blessing (similar as the statues )
offer some fun consumable items (similar to what they give during holidays)

Travel... ummm... isn't getting there half the battle and all the fun?
No, it makes no sense for a collector of items to want to give back the items that they collected.
Blessing and Boosts should be left to the statues, but perhaps a few more statues are in order.
Hmmmm... a collector Minotaur Haunches who in turn gives us Hamburger... sure why not... sounds fun.

One thing, I'd like to suggest is perhaps collectors giving mid range weapon upgrades. All that gear in the desert is great, but it takes some modding to make useable... Is it possible to have a collector in the Ring of Fire, UW, or FoW offer say... 7/10, +25ish upgrades... not 10/10 Sundering. Just a thought.

why stop there?

if the collector is in town the people will just see him/her in town and not bother looking for the collector out of town.

BETTER IDEA

LINE UP ALL THE AREA COLLECTORS LIKE HENCHIES

sounds like terminal laziness

To the OP of this thread...I like it the way it is. However, I do like Argen's idea about mods. It would be great if there were some scattered collectors throughout GW's that offered various mods.
